About ACMP ANZ
Our chapter covers approximately 80% of the population of Australia and our 5 States contribute over 80% of the GDP of Australia.
As change practitioners we are faced with new ways of working that require a wide range of skills and capabilities, not traditionally associated with change management. In bringing this community together into the Australia and New Zealand Chapter we are able to engage, educate and enable our members to embrace an inclusive and collaborative approach to address the new challenges that are impacting all of us.
Our chapter covers approximately 80% of the population of Australia and our 5 States contributes over 80% of the GDP of Australia.
- We represent the Australia namely NSW, Victoria, WA, ACT, Queensland and Tasmania. And as of 2023 New Zealand.
- We reach approximately ¾ of the Australian population or 22.5 million people.
- We are headquartered in Sydney, with each state having a Chapter Representative and a number of ACMP Volunteers.
- Australia is ranked as the 12th largest economy in terms of global GDP.
- In the Asia-Pacific region Australia ranks 4th with the world’s largest economies (US, Japan and China).
- Industries underpinning our strong global position include Minerals, Manufacturing and Construction which contribute approximately 30% to GDP.
- Financial Services contributes a further 11% to GDP.
- Australia’s pooled funds under management are the largest in the Asia Pacific region and 4th largest in the world.
