Our New Collaborative Partner: Deakin Business School

On 8 March 2024, ACMP ANZ marked a significant milestone in signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Deakin Business School (DBS) to advance thought leadership around change management and transformation.

This opportunity will enrich Deakin undergraduate and postgraduate students’ understanding of change management, as well as enable ACMP ANZ to bring its unique and extensive industry knowledge of multi-disciplinary transformation to DBS students, academics and alumni. The execution of the MOU is in large part due to the persistent and hard work of ACMP ANZ’s President Peter Cully and Mike Bengough, DBS Unit Chair and Lecturer in Managed Change and Co-Director of ACMP ANZ’s Leadership and Development function.

In March, the first round of initiatives commenced with a group of undergraduate students undertaking a guided sprint – we look forward to further expanding our chapter’s collaborative efforts in the ABC and Ambassador programs with these talented students.

In the works are opportunities to transfer knowledge and build awareness of the multi-disciplinary practices relating to business transformation and change which include events, developing case studies, being part of thought leadership initiatives, and being exposed to leading thinkers in their respective professions.

We are looking forward to working in partnership with (DBS) to participate in thought leadership panels and lectures. ACMP ANZ looks forward to the ongoing evolution of this exciting partnership.
